I’ll guide you through the entire process
My name's Jessica and I live in beautiful east Tennessee with my husband and our two fur babies. I've travelled all around the world, lived in a foreign country and crossed off all of the lower 48 states, but my travel bug is far from over. I want to capture your beautiful moments anywhere that may be! Whether it's in the blue ridge mountains, out west surrounded by Joshua trees, or even atop a volcano is Iceland, I'm up for the adventure!
01. SHOULD YOU ELOPE?
Eloping is great for couples that value an experience over a large wedding. They're looking for something more personal so that they can share that special day with one another.
02. PICK A LOCATION
When it comes to picking a location, there's so much to choose from, but don't let that stress you out. Once you have a state, or country, in mind think of the landscapes that area offers. Is there an epic mountain? Does the area have a huge city perfect for an urban backdrop? Are there white sandy beaches just screaming your name? No matter where it is, your photos are bound to look amazing if you're open to a fun time.
03. SEASON & TIMELINE
Are you planning for a summer shoot, or what about some fall colors? Maybe you're interested in a winter wonderland experience? It is important that choose a date & time for your event. Depending on what part of the year that is, make sure you prepare for whatever the weather may be at that time.
04. GUEST LIST
The first thing to do is figure out if you'll have a guest list, or not. If you decide to invite guests to your elopement, or micro wedding, that's great! Just remember that this is still your day. If you're wanting the gathering to be small, stick to your plans. Too often small events can grow out of control, but it's always important to do what YOU want on YOUR day.
05. VENDORS
If you plan on including any vendors, it's always great to reach out in advance. Wedding vendors can sometimes be booked up a year in advanced, especially if it's a photographer, so making a list of what you're looking for, and reaching out as soon as possible will give you a better chance at finding the perfect vendors for your special day.
06. LEGAL DETAILS
Legal requirements for a marriage differ depending on the city, state, and country. It is important to do your research to make sure your knot is legally tied! If you're getting married stateside, researching U.S. marriage laws is a good place to start.

Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

What if we want something more extreme for our elopement?
I'm always down for an adventure & would love to chat more about what you're looking for!
We want to include our dog into the elopement ceremony and photos, is that okay?
Yes! Please include your fur babies, mainly because I want to hang out with them. ;)
Do you cover location permits?
If your elopement/micro-wedding requires a permit, that will be included in the price of your package. If your portrait session location requires a permit, this will be an additional charge. However, I help with all permits required & can fill out the application for you, so you don't have to worry about a thing!
Are you LGBTQ inclusive?
I am 100% inclusive of ALL love!
How long does it take to recieve the photos after the elopement and how will those be delivered?
You will receive your images in an online private gallery where you can download the images directly to your computer. My turnaround time for portrait sessions is typically 2-4 weeks. The turnaround time for elopements is 3-6 weeks. I will try to share sneak peaks within the first week.
Do you give out RAW images?
No. When you book me as a client you're booking me for several reasons, and one of those being that you like my editing style. I do not give out RAW images because this does not represent my brand.
What if we legally don’t get married on our elopement day?
Whether you get legally married after your elopement, or before, this is still your special day & I'm down to capture it either way.
What should I expect at a shoot with you?
I love to have fun with my clients, and to be your personal hype woman! Whether you're someone who loves to be in front of the camera, or thinks they look "awkward" I'm here to help you feel confident, have fun and look amazing.
